Who was an important on me as a child???

My parents were an important influence on me as a child. They trained me since I was child to become independent and do not depend to them when to do something. I listened to their advice that asked me to be independent person in good things which they thought I can handle it. For instance, since I was in primary school, they wanted me to go to school by myself rather than by bus. When I was in secondary school, I was stayed at hostel until I finished my study. Until now, I did something by myself rather than get my parents help. Today, I love and appreciate what they have done to me because from their advice I become an independent person.
